About Me:

Hi, i'm charlie, i'm quite different to the way that people see me in real life. they see me as a typical teenager, but really i have a very strong love for photography and video production. This first began when i got my very first video camera for christmas in 2007, i loved the thing, just because it meant i was able to capture everyday life and save it for later. It was so new to me and i've always wanted to go out and make something similar to the big movies that everyone sees in the cinemas. My first inspiration was to try and make a short movie with small toys i had, i would love to just throw them around and make a fight scene between them. As you can imagine it wasn't amazing, seeing as i was only 7. it was a side on view of the table in the back of my house. I had no clue how to set the camera correctly or move it around, so throughout the whole video i could be seen standing at the side holding the toys while doing all the sound effects. I then went off the whole idea for about 5 years, i had to focus on moving schools, and lots of other problems like that. I then later moved on to doing music videos for my mum, they were quite good, but still not amazing, they were all filmed with a pretty basic camera, but still better than what i had when when i was 8. Then next year, in 2014 i got a drone for filming aerial video, this was an amazing tool, as it allowed me to capture a very unique perspective, which not many people had seen before. This set off a whole load of ideas in my mind about what i could possibly do. Then i ended up filming my first short film with one of my friends. Just with the simple idea of making remote controlled cars look realistic, and trying to make a race scene with them. It turned out pretty good, especially compared to the films i was making when i was 8. All this has given me so many new ideas, and i will post them very soon.

Here is a short youtube clip to show just how much i have progressed over the previous 6 years
